"BY THE BOOK " (GOD'S HOLY WORD)
While it's good to pray from the heart, power is added to our prayers when we include the Word of God as a decree and testimony of our faith in the eternal promises of God. God's Word is the only absolute Truth, Goodness, Righteousness, Power, Grace and Authority that is available to mankind. All else is an approximation. God's Word reflects the seven Divine attributes of G-d, as identified by the early Jewish rabbis. These include: Chessed (Love), Gevurah (Strength), Tifferet (Beauty), Netzach (Victory), Hod (Splendour), Yeshod (Foundation) and Malchut (Sovereignty). When we read, 'stand on' or pronounce God's Word as prayers and decrees we release the Glory and Omnipotence of God into both the natural and spirit realms. When we pray and decree in the authority of Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach), Who now rules and reigns at the Father's right hand, we ensure that our prayers are carried and heard into the very ear of God the Father, and He is righteous and just to respond to our cries.
Below are some Bible scriptures that have been quickened to us in relation to the Pray4Kids Day event...
Mark 10: 13-16 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have Him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of GOD belongs to such as these. I tell you the Truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of GOD like a little child will never enter it. And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them."
Matthew 10: 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones, only in the name of a disciple, truly he will never lose his reward.
Jeremiah 3: 22 "Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding." "Yes, we will come to You, for You are the LORD our GOD."
Malachi 4: 4-5 Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.
Mark 9: 12 "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck. If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the Kingdom of GOD with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched."
Exodus 20: 1-20 And God spoke all these words: "I am the LORD your GOD, Who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your GOD, am a jealous GOD, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing love to a thousand generations, of` those who love Me and keep My commandments. You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your GOD, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His Name. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your GOD. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore, the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your GOD is giving you. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey; or anything that belongs to your neighbor." When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have GOD speak to us or we will die." Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. GOD has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."
Mark 7: 6-13 He (Jesus) replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites, as it is written: "These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. They worship Me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. You have let go of the commands of GOD and are holding on to the traditions of man". And He said to them, "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of GOD in order to observe your own traditions!"
Matthew 22: 36b-40 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?" Jesus replied, "'Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind'. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
2 Chronicles 7: 14, 15 If my people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
Luke 11: 9-13 (Jesus said) "So I say to you: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"
Isaiah 44: 1-11 But now listen, O Jacob, my servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. This is what the Lord says - He Who made you, Who formed you in the womb, and Who will help you. Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen, for I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams. One will say, "I belong to the LORD"; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; still another will write on his hand, "The LORD'S"; and will take the name Israel.
This is what the LORD says - Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD ALMIGHTY. I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no God. Who then is like Me? Let him proclaim it. Let him declare and lay out before Me what has happened since I established my ancient people, and what is yet to come - yes, let him foretell what will come. Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.
All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind; they are ignorant, to their own shame. Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit him nothing? He and his kind will be put to shame; craftsmen are nothing but men. Let them all come together and take their stand; they will be brought down to terror and infamy.
Jeremiah 2: 11-13 "Has a nation every changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their Glory for worthless idols. Be appalled at this, O heavens, and shudder with great horror", declares the LORD. "My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken Me, the Spring of Living Water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water."
Matthew 23: 37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing."
Isaiah 44: 21-22 Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are My servant, O Israel. I have made you, you are My servant; O Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
Isaiah 43: 5-7 Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, "Give them up!" and to the south, "Do not hold them back". Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth - everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed and made.
Jeremiah 3: 11-14 The LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel is more righteous than unfaithful Judah. "Go, proclaim this message toward the north: "Return, faithless Israel", declares the LORD, "I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful", declares the LORD. "I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your guilt - you have rebelled against the LORD your GOD, you have scattered your favors to foreign gods under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed Me", declares the LORD. "Return, faithless people", declares the LORD, "for I am your Husband."
John 14: 1, 6, 7a, 11a, 12-14 (Then Jesus answered) "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me."... I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the LIfe. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really know Me, you would know My Father also... Believe Me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.... I tell you the Truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it."
Isaiah 43: 18-19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
John 14: 15-18, 19b-21, 23-24, 26-27a (Jesus said) If you love Me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him for He lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you....Because I live, you will live. On that day you will realize that I am in My Father and you are in Me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to Him."....."If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father Who sent me.".... "...the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you."
Luke 11: 28 He (Jesus) replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
Luke 13: 3a-9 "But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Then He told this parable: "A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for the fruit on it, but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, "For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?" "Sir", the man replied, "leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, cut it down." " - Jesus Christ
Revelation 3: 1b-3 "I know your deeds, you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."
Luke 11: 2-4 He (Jesus) said to them: "When you pray, say: "Father, hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."
Ezekiel 16: 59, 60 This is what the Sovereign LORD says, "I will deal with you as you deserve. because you have despised My oath by breaking the covenant. Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you."
Isaiah 51: 4, 5, 8b Listen to Me (the LORD), O My people, and give ear to Me, O My nation; for a Divine law will go forth from Me, and I will establish My justice for a light to the peoples. My rightness and justice are near, My salvation is going forth, and My arms shall rule the peoples; the islands shall wait for and expect Me, and on My arm shall they trust and wait with hope....My rightness and justice (and faithfully fulfilled promises) shall be forever, and My salvation to all generations.
Jonah 4: 11 And should I not spare Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons not yet old enough to know their right hand from their left, and also many cattle (not accountable for sin)?
Ezekiel 17: 22-24 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says, "I Myself will take a shoot from the very top of a cedar and plant it; I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain. On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches. All the trees of the field will know that I the LORD bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree to flourish. I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it." "
Isaiah 49: 15, 16; 22-25 (And the LORD answered), "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have indelibly imprinted you on the palm of each of My hands; your walls are continually before Me....Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentile nations and set up My standard and raise high My signal banner to the people; and they will bring your sons in the bosom of their garments , and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.......; for they shall not be put to shame who wait for, look for, hope for, and expect Me. For thus says the LORD: Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will give safety to your children and ease them. "

Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to approach the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city."
